VIVEK RAMASWAMY BOOED OFFSTAGE BY CONSERVATIVES LESS THAN 100 DAYS BEFORE ELECTION

Columbus, Ohio- Vivek Ramaswamy was booed offstage at a conference for young conservatives after telling them “my generation has already made it” and he was “going to be fine.” It’s the latest warning sign for Ramaswamy less than 100 days out from Election Day in this toss-up race.

Yesterday’s disastrous appearance isn’t the first time Ramaswamy’s supporters have seen through his lies and policy scams. Signal Ohio reported on how a Cleveland conservative radio host predicted if the election were held today, Ramaswamy would lose. He shared “dozens of complaints” from Republicans  about how the campaign is being run. In 2025, Ramaswamy released a plan to make school year round that was so unpopular his own base thought it was AI-generated.

“No one in Ohio likes Vivek Ramaswamy, especially young people who don’t want to be forced to pay for the higher costs of data centers that he called ‘a good thing.’ Ramaswamy’s policy scams would skyrocket costs for working families in the middle of an affordability crisis while making more money for himself. Ohio can’t afford Vivek Ramaswamy,” said Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Seewer.

NEW VOTE ALERT: Jon Husted Votes For The Thirteenth Time To Support Iran War

ASSOCIATED PRESS: Americans’ confidence in US economy falls as Iran conflict sends gas prices higher

COLUMBUS, OHIO — Jon Husted has officially voted thirteen times to support the expensive and unnecessary war in Iran that has sent energy and food prices soaring for Ohioans. 

Husted’s thirteenth vote comes as Americans’ confidence in the economy fell to new lows and gas prices in Ohio surged again. While Husted claims he wants the “war to end” and for “gas prices to come down,” he keeps voting to make everything more expensive.

Ohio Democratic Party Senior Communications Advisor Tony Wen released the following statement:

“Jon Husted claims that he wants the Iran war to end, but just voted for the thirteenth time to support the endless conflict in the Middle East. Gas prices are surging again thanks to the Husted-backed war in Iran, and Ohio families are once again being forced to pay the price.”

While Husted keeps voting to make everything more expensive, he also can’t help himself from insulting hardworking Ohioans struggling because of his votes:

  • When asked recently if he was okay with not knowing how long the war will last or how much taxpayer dollars will be spent, Husted replied, “it’s not really up to us.”
  • When asked what he was doing to address rising gas prices for his constituents, Husted responded: “What do you want me to do?” 
  • When a truck driver asked about soaring diesel costs, Husted brushed him off and responded by asking if he was comfortable with Iran being a nuclear power.

Conservative Cleveland Radio Host: “Ramaswamy is running a poor campaign and would lose the November election if it were held today”

Columbus, Ohio — New reporting from Signal Ohio spotlighted how Jake Underwood, a Cleveland-based conservative radio host, slammed Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign and predicted he would lose if the election were held today. Underwood spoke out after “dozens of complaints” at local Republican functions.

“If there’s one thing that brings Ohioans together despite their political differences in this year’s election, it’s that they just don’t like Vivek Ramaswamy. Despite the tens of millions in ad spending to try to prop him up, voters see through Ramaswamy’s lies and cost-raising policy scams. In less than 100 days, they’ll vote to send him and his private jet flying off into the sunset on a permanent vacation,” said Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Seewer.

  • Republican governor candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is running a poor campaign and would lose the November election if it were held today. Or at least, that’s what a conservative Cleveland radio host contended during a recent show.
  • Jake Underwood spent an entire 60-minute segment on July 20 delivering an extensive criticism of Ramaswamy’s political performance ahead of the November election. His concerns include what he sees as Ramaswamy being too focused on the Republican base at the expense of independent voters. He described Ramaswamy being late for a Medina County Republican Party function last winter, the same day he attended an Ohio State football game. Underwood also said Ramaswamy doesn’t talk enough with local media – including refusing to come on Underwood’s show – choosing instead to sit down with national podcast hosts and produce social media videos.
  • In an interview, Underwood, a former top staffer for the Medina County Republican Party, told Signal Statewide he heard dozens of complaints about Ramaswamy at local Republican functions before he finally decided to air them out via his show.

On the 61st Anniversary of Medicaid & Medicare, Reminder That Vivek Ramaswamy Called Them “Mistakes”

Columbus, Ohio—Today marks the 61st anniversary of Medicaid and Medicare being signed into law. These programs help millions of Ohioans afford care; however, Vivek Ramaswamy has said he believes they were “mistakes.”

Medicaid and Medicare are the backbone of Ohio’s healthcare system. More than three million Ohioans enrolled in Medicaid and 2.5 million Ohioans on Medicare, and rural hospitals in particular rely heavily on Medicaid reimbursements to keep their doors open. A reduction in coverage would disproportionately affect rural hospitals and nursing homes, forcing Ohioans in rural communities to travel farther for routine appointments and emergency care. 

“The real mistake here is Vivek Ramaswamy flippantly dismissing critical healthcare programs that keep costs down for Ohioans,” said Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Seewer. “Ramaswamy’s policy scams would slash healthcare and raise costs for patients across the state, including children, seniors, and veterans. Ohio patients can’t afford Vivek Ramaswamy.”

WHAT OHIOANS ARE READING: ‘Claims Jon Husted protected sexual abusers date back more than 20 years’

COLUMBUS, OHIO — New bombshell reporting reveals that Jon Husted’s record of protecting pedophiles and predators dates back more than twenty years, when, as Ohio Speaker of the House, he gutted legislation to help survivors of sexual abuse hold their abusers accountable.

The new revelation is the latest in a disturbing pattern of Jon Husted surrounding himself with predators and protecting abusers: 

  • Jon Husted’s campaign chair in Ohio’s largest county was forced to resign after it was revealed he served jail time for committing sexual misconduct with a minor.
  • Jon Husted is still proudly touting the endorsement of State Representative Rodney Creech, who has been accused of sexual misconduct involving a minor relative, while his current Sandusky County campaign chair also came under fire for talking to young girls about their sex lives.
  • Jon Husted has been under fire for taking more than $116,000 directly from Epstein co-conspirator Les Wexner, including a maximum donation just a few weeks before he voted to block the release of the Epstein files.

  • In 2006, when he was leading the Ohio House of Representatives, Husted, who is now running for reelection to the U.S. Senate, has come under fire recently for accepting donations from a Jeffrey Epstein associate and having a county campaign chair who served jail time for alleged misconduct with a minor. Each of these stories has fueled a narrative that Husted is tolerant and even protective of sexual abusers.
  • The Ohio Senate passed SB 17, known as the clergy abuse bill, in March 2006. The legislation was led by Democratic state Sen. Teresa Fedor as a response to the Catholic clergy abuse scandal. It sought to enact several reforms, including requiring clergy (of all religions) to report child abuse committed by their colleagues, expanding the legal definition of sexual battery to cover clergy who sexually exploit minors in their congregations, and creating a one-year civil window for victims to seek damages for offenses that happened outside the 35-year statute of limitations.
  • The Catholic Conference of Ohio, which represents the state’s bishops, lobbied the state House to water down the bill. The group specifically took issue with the one-year civil window provision, arguing that the church could not reasonably defend itself against older allegations.
  • Husted, who is a Roman Catholic, was serving as House speaker at the time. He oversaw a process by which the civil window provision was stripped from the bill and replaced with a plan to create an online registry of clergy members found liable of sexual abuse in civil court.
  • Barbara Blaine, who started an advocacy group for survivors of priest abuse, told the Columbus Dispatch that she felt betrayed by Husted and accused him of caving to pressure from the Catholic Conference of Ohio.
  • On the day the House voted on the weakened SB 17, survivors lined the halls of the state Capitol, each one holding an image of themselves at the age when they were abused. Several Republican lawmakers reportedly entered the chamber through side doors to avoid confronting the angry victims.
  • This was not the first time Husted used his position to limit the ability of abuse survivors to seek justice. In 2004, he voted for a tort reform law that capped noneconomic damages for sexual abuse plaintiffs at $250,000.
  • The Ohio Capital Journal wrote 2021 that the law had the effect of “stripping child rape victims of millions of dollars in legal damages.”
