COLUMBUS, OH — Following Dr. Amy Acton’s historic victory in the Ohio Governor’s race, Ohio Democratic Party Chair Kathleen Clyde released the following statement:
“Last night, Ohioans sent a clear message that they’re ready for a Governor who will work with anyone to lower costs for Ohio families. Despite being massively outspent by a billionaire and his out-of-state billionaire allies, Ohioans of all backgrounds chose Dr. Acton because they know she’s not a politician, she’s a doctor, a mom, and a public servant who will always put Ohio first.
