Nearly one out of every five Ohio homes does not have internet access. And in Columbiana County, 28% of households don’t have access to high-speed internet. As the last few years have shown us, a reliable internet connection is a necessity, not a luxury.

Ohio Democrats are focused on bridging this gap to get all of Ohio connected. We fought for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that passed earlier this year. Ohio Dems secured:

  • $100 million to help ensure high-speed internet coverage across the state.
  • Support for as many as 1,883,000 Ohio households through the Affordable Connectivity Program, which cuts internet bills by up to $30 per month for eligible households.
