COLUMBUS — With a busy schedule full of golfing and “executive time,” President Donald Trump has failed to find a moment to respond to Ohioans asking for his help in saving the General Motors factory in Lordstown — which will have a job-crushing ripple effect across the state if it shutters.
.@UAW Local 1112 President Dave Green has sent a second letter to @realDonaldTrump asking for his help to #SaveLordstown.
The president never responded to the first letter.https://t.co/vem5zsfo6U

“Ohio Democrats are honored to stand with the workers of GM Lordstown, and we’re proud that Congressman Tim Ryan has asked UAW Local 1112 President Dave Green to join him for tomorrow night’s State of the Union, as a reminder to Donald Trump of his promises to the people of the Mahoning Valley,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “It’s a shame that the president finds plenty of time to golf or Tweet, but he can’t find the time to respond to a letter asking for him to help the workers of GM Lordstown.”
