COLUMBUS — Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper released the following statement today in support of the Wright State chapter of the American Association of University Professors and the students of Wright State University.
“The students and faculty at Wright State deserve a quick resolution to this situation, which is why the Wright State Board of Trustees should return to the bargaining table to negotiate a fair contract in good faith. Collective bargaining is only weakened when one side attempts to impose unilateral decisions or remove the ability to negotiate provisions such as health care. Weakening any workers’ rights to collectively bargain hurts all Ohioans. We hope that fair, productive negotiations will begin soon.”
