Ohio Democrats Provide Training for 110 Campaigns, Including Congressional, State House, Senate, Countywide and Judicial Candidates
COLUMBUS — Continuing the momentum of last year’s big Democratic wins in local races, the Ohio Democratic Party’s “Main Street Initiative” this weekend held a record-breaking training with more than 110 candidates and campaign managers representing congressional, state House, state Senate, countywide and judicial campaigns from across the Buckeye State.
“What Democrats are seeing nationally, we’re seeing here in Ohio, too — the unprecedented energy and enthusiasm of the grassroots is turning into record numbers of Democratic candidates running in races up and down the ballot,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “We’re proud to support our state and local candidates when they run for office, as we build our bench of great public servants. We look forward to working with our 2018 ‘Main Street’ candidates from now through Election Day and then touting their successes once they’re in office.”
