DCCC Targeting OH-10, OH-1 And OH-12
COLUMBUS — The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced today that it is adding Ohio’s 10th Congressional District — currently represented by Rep. Mike Turner — to its “offensive battlefield.”
“Congressman Mike Turner is totally out of touch with his Dayton-based district, which went for Sherrod Brown in 2012 and by an even bigger margin in 2018,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “Turner’s transition to becoming a complete Donald Trump lackey was never more apparent than during the impeachment hearings, when he used his time to berate and cut off Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. This district is ready for new leadership, and Desiree Tims has worked tirelessly to put this district in play.”
The Montgomery County Democratic Party has endorsed Desiree Tims for the Democratic nomination to take on Turner this fall.
The DCCC previously announced it was targeting Ohio’s 1st and 12th Congressional Districts.
