COLUMBUS – Justin Barasky, Press Secretary for the Ohio Democratic Party, released the following statement today in response to reports that Ken Blackwell is considering throwing his hat into the Republican primary:
“Ken Blackwell has a new book coming out in a few weeks and he knows that announcing a possible run for Senate is a great way to boost sales. Should Mr. Blackwell decide to get serious about running, he’s going to have to explain to Ohioans why he’s acted as a cheerleader from the sidelines for John Kasich’s brutal attack on teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other public workers.”
