COLUMBUS, OHIO – Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern released the following statement today on Josh Mandel joining Mitt Romney on the campaign trail:
“Josh Mandel wouldn’t support the auto rescue when nearly 850,000 industry related jobs were in danger, still refuses to support it to this day and was a willing participant in Governor Kasich’s brutal attack on pubic workers, so it was only a matter of time before he joined up with Mitt Romney. Sadly the two candidates have far more in common than their anti-middle class agenda. Just as Mitt Romney refuses to come clean about his tax returns, Josh Mandel has repeatedly ignored multiple public records requests for staff resumes related to the ongoing cronyism scandal in his office, and to this day has completely ignored our last nine requests for his schedule as Treasurer.”
