Yesterday, The Ohio Democratic Party Invited Mandel To Finally Do His Job And Attend His First Meeting This Thursday

COLUMBUS, OHIO –Ohioans know that their absentee Treasurer values “election to higher office above every other consideration,” but that doesn’t mean they don’t want Josh Mandel to finally do the job he was promised to do.

In this new video released by the Ohio Democratic Party, Ohioans across the state discuss their jobs, and react to the news that Josh Mandel hasn’t attended a single monthly meeting of the “powerful” state board that “decides which banks will hold billions in state deposits.”

“Ohioans show up to work and do their jobs and they’re rightfully outraged that Josh Mandel is collecting a taxpayer funded salary while not doing his,” said Ohio Democratic Party press secretary Justin Barasky. “There’s not a Treasurer in America more willfully neglecting his responsibilities as a public servant and it’s far past time for Josh Mandel to check his out of control political ambition at the door and start putting Ohioans first.”
