LGBT Caucus

The Ohio Democratic Party’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus is devoted to advancing equal rights for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The Caucus is part of the Democratic Party and supports Democratic candidates. It draws its strength from a statewide network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight Democrats who are working to realize the Party’s overall mission.

Next Generation Democrats

As young Ohioans are playing an increasingly important role in local, state and national elections, the Ohio Democratic Party (ODP) is creating an avenue for their further involvement in our Party, known as “Next Generation Democrats.” Through Next Gen Dems, the Ohio Democratic Party is establishing a grassroots network of 18- to 35-year-olds committed to improving and energizing all aspects of the political process.

Women’s Caucus

The Ohio Democratic Women’s Caucus is a grassroots organization that works in full partnership with the Ohio Democratic Party (ODP). Specifically, the caucus works to educate and empower women to take on leadership roles within Democratic politics and strongly impact the outcome of elections at the local, state, and national level.

Democratic Nurses Caucus

The ONDC is a political action committee (PAC) affiliated with the Ohio Democratic Party. The ONDC was formed to assure that nurses are aware of the Democratic candidates’ views and records about issues related to health care and nurses. Membership is open to RNs, LPNs, and students of those programs who support the mission of the organization.
